This morning I got the "train"* through to Dunfermline then went up to St. Ninians Cathedral in Perth for the Ordination of Tembu Rongong to the Diaconate (ooh, long words!). At the same service, David was installed as a Canon of the Cathedral. I enjoyed the service, top marks to those choosing the hymns. The building was freezing though, which you began to notice after the first hour! And whatever you think of the Piskies, you can't deny that we can put on a good procession when required. Candles, incense (although not on an All Saints St. Andrews scale thankfully) and a seemingly endless parade of Clergy and associated hangers-on.

I wonder what the collective noun for a group of Clergy is...suggestions?
